Glitches and Problems

This posting is of an administrative nature.  Two problems have come to my attention that I'd like to address.

1)  Some readers have noted that some words in my posting texts are joined together.  They are wondering why I don't proofread a bit better.

Reply:  You receive an email notification each time I write a new post.  That notification is actually a copy of the post, not the original.  To view the original, click on the posting title as shown in the email.  (I create a new title for each posting and it's underlined.)  You will be redirected to the original blog.  The original has headers, sidebars, etc., and hopefully not too many typos!

2)  Some readers are unable to leave a comment.

Reply:  The explanation may be long winded, but it's very simple.

  • To write a comment, you must be in the original blog and not in your notification email.  (Follow the above-noted steps to get to original blog.)
  •  Do not press your email "reply button" for comments.
  • At the bottom of the post, click on Post a Comment.
  • Write your comment.
  • A second box comes up asking you to "Comment as:"  The choices will be listed as Google, Live Journal, Word Press, etc.  If you are not affiliated to any of those, then choose Name/ URL.
  • Enter your name and you may leave URL blank.  Press Continue and Publish.
  • Blog will ask if you're a robot.  Answer question to verify you're not.
  • If you do not use Name/URL, you may also choose Anonymous and continue with same procedure.  Remember to include your name in the comment so I know who you are!
  • All comments are monitored before publishing.
Hope these few explanations will be helpful.  Do let me know if you continue to experience problems.
